Burn the Diet Rulebook

During the first three weeks, we clear the mental deck on what's actually holding you back, so we can tackle it head on during the course of 90 days together.

Most programs start by giving you a list of to-dos... not here, we start with what's already swirling in your brain so we can untangle it.

This first phase will give you the answer to the question: "How do I stay moving forward and consistent, when I don't feel motivated?"

You'll also figure out why copying what you see other people do never seems to work for YOU - and how to know what absolutely will work for you, instead.

  • how to reframe a self-sabotaging thought

Phase 2

Eat on Purpose

Over the next 5 weeks, we clear up all the misconceptions you have about nutrition, weight loss, and your metabolism - so that moving forward, it's SIMPLE and clear.

This second phase will answer the question: "How and what exactly should I eat if I have this goal {insert: weight loss, building muscle, feeling energy} without feeling like I'm a slave to calories all day long?"

These weeks are all about feeling free from frivolous diet rules and knowing what to do when you want to throw in the towel.

Our focus topics will include:

  • how to know how much and what kinds of food to eat for your body, if you want to lose weight, build muscle, or stay where you are today
  • how to use macros to become an "intuitive" eater in the future
  • how to be more satisfied during meals to stop overeating
  • how to shift your environment to make your life easier
Phase 3

Healthy Person Integration

In our final 5 weeks, we do something that NO OTHER nutrition coaching program offers: dedicated time to rinse and repeat.

This final phase gives you the answer to the question: "How do I make this work in my real life, when I can't control everything and my schedule is madness?"

We make the first two phases feel totally second nature... and what that means to you is walking away with a new lifestyle that feels like you.

Hi, I'm Julia 👋🏻

By 2021, I’d tried every diet plan under the sun. 

I did Weight Watchers for the first time in HIGH SCHOOL… and yet, over a decade later, I was still waking up every Monday feeling “off track”

I was utterly confused how I could WANT to be consistent so desperately… and yet, nothing I tried helped me be consistent

In my mid-20s, I starting feeling like this may just be who I was:

  • The chaotic one
  • The one always trying a new diet
  • The one always joining a new gym
  • The one always eliminating a new food group
  • The one who couldn't stick to anything longer than 30 days without rebelling

I wondered if I just wasn’t cut out for consistency

But I couldn’t settle for that… I was an achiever, and I knew that if I put my mind to it, I could figure it out... But what I’d been trying wasn’t cutting it

So I studied food truths instead of food rules, I got certified as a macro nutrition coach, I started questioning my thoughts, I started leading with curiosity instead of judgment

And suddenly, I saw a perspective that changed how I saw the world:

I’d been misunderstanding food the whole time… and therefore, I’d been misunderstanding how to be consistent in my nutrition and health too

I realized all my “bad decisions” weren’t because of my PERSONAL flaws, they were because of the flaws in my thinking!

By holding myself to expectation of "perfection" around food, I was putting myself in a lose-lose situation every time... leading to unhelpful thoughts and weeks of self-sabotage after any "imperfect" moment

It wasn't the occasional overeating that was the problem, it was the way I was talking to myself after it happened and the choices that I made, because of that shame, disappointment, and frustration

So I got to work rewiring my thoughts and holding myself to a standard that was still high - but without expecting perfection

And the results felt like a freedom I never thought was possible

 Giving up perfect control was the very thing that finally allowed me to feel like I was in the driver's seat of my own life, instead of a victim to my actions

Are there live calls?

Yes!!! Every Thursday from 1-2pm ET. 

Do I get 1:1 access to Julia?

What if I can't attend the calls?

Not a problem! They will be recorded - and available via an app podcast-style! So you'll be able to watch the replay and join the conversation our group chat. 

How will we communicate each week?

In between calls, we'll be hanging out in a group chat thread with everyone in the program. We'll use an app called Voxer. We will really get to know each other. And I’ll pop in at least 1x a day M-Thu to answer questions. VIP clients will also get direct access to me on Voxer every Wednesday!

How is this different than 1:1 coaching?

Well, it’s very similar at its core. This methodology is rooted in what I coach my clients on 1:1 - but the real value in the Rooted is getting to learn in different way the growth that those around you are having. I find that in a group environment, I learn so much by hearing the experiences and questions of others! 

Do I get a 1x macro count?

Yes & no! You will get access to my "Calculate Your Own Macros" tool - which you can re-use as many times as needed (you get to keep it for life!!) I will teach you how to assess your own macros needs so you can adjust your macros into the future! PLUS - I’ll show you a way of eating that doesn’t require macro counting forever - so you can feel confident picking the tools that serve you best!

What if it doesn't work for me?

Oof, this is always the hard part with something new, right? I will say that every single one of my clients that was ready to put in the mindset work and practice new habits to create change in their lives has succeeded. It will challenge you at times, but that’s exactly why I see so much value in having a coach - I get to be the person who helps you get through those moments, so you feel able to come out on the other side of struggles feeling more aligned to the person you want to come.
